The South Tyrolean high plateau where Meransen lies is your starting point directly into a mountain biker’s paradise. On forest trails you climb up to high pastures, race down fast downhill stretches and, after all the effort, you can enjoy fantastic views of mountain peaks into the distance.

Gentle cycle tours: the cycle trails along the Puster and Eisack valleys
Following the Rienz and the Eisack rivers, the new South Tyrol cycle path network runs through the green of the Puster and Eisack valleys. A bike trip is always worthwhile: to one of the pleasant cities of Brixen, Bruneck or Sterzing, and even over the border to Lienz. Along the cycle paths, which offer no special difficulties, there is also plenty for children to see.
